Beclometasone dipropionate or beclomethasone dipropionate, also referred to as beclometasone, is a potent glucocorticoid steroid. In the form of an inhaler (e.g. Becotide, Qvar), a wide number of brands of which are available, it is used for the prophylaxis of asthma. As a nasal spray (e.g. Beconase, Vancenase), it is used for the treatment of rhinitis (e.g. hayfever) and sinusitis. In some instances it is used by oral pathologists in the treatment of unusually severe canker sores. As a cream or ointment (trade name Propaderm) it is used to treat severe inflammatory skin disorders (e.g. eczema) unresponsive to less potent steroids, but is generally avoided in the treatment of psoriasis due to the risk of rebound on withdrawal.

Budecort is a glucocorticoid steroid for the treatment of asthma, non-infectious rhinitis (including hay fever and other allergies), and for treatment and prevention of nasal polyposis. Additionally, it is used for Crohn's disease (inflammatory bowel disease).
It is marketed by AstraZeneca as a nasal inhalant under the brand name Rhinocort (in Denmark, as Rhinosol), as an oral inhalant under the brand name Pulmicort, and as either an enema or a modified release oral capsule under the brand name Entocort. It is also sold in combination with (Oxis) in a single inhaler, under the brand name Symbicort. In Brazil it's marketed by Eurofarma under the brand name Noex.
